After a couple of worrying days and phone calls that my visa was never going to come, it arrived today! Yay!! Only thing is that because it wasn't here by yesterday (Wed 12th) I'm no longer leaving on 16th March but 23rd March. Wee bit annoying as I was hoping to leave then but everything works out for a reason! :)
I can't believe what the visa actually looks like! I was expecting some big certificate or something but instead it’s a label stuck to a page of my passport! Copies of the documents I had sent were in the parcel and I was panicking that the visa wasn’t even there.
Everything is getting so real now that I have my visa. Now I know that I actually need to start packing and stop faffing around making excuses!
Something which I am LOVING right now is Lighthouse by Rend Collective (they've decided to drop the "experiment" from the end). It came out yesterday and the album is out soon too. So definitely have a wee listen to it, I can guarantee it’ll be one of those songs stuck in your head! My favourite part of the song is: "I won't fear what tomorrow brings. With each morning I'll rise and sing. My God's love will lead me through. You are the peace in my troubled sea." I think this is definately something that I need to remember when getting ready for Knysna and when I'm there as well, especially if I'm having a hard time.
Well that’s my first post, just to let everyone know what the craic is and to see how this blogging thing actually works haha.
